I'm tired!

Just a note to any followers about how extremly tired I am. I could go to bed a sleep for three days straight but I know that it won't happen because of the giant pile of paper I brought home to grade because I was tired of looking at them on my desk. It is getting better as time goes on but no one said how hard this would be!

What was I thinking!!!!

So here I am going into my third week of teaching 5th grade and I am finally beginning to see the light. All those things that I was told to do before school starts, don't smile till Christmas, procedures, sacrifice the lamb, etc. Some of the things were true but others I still don't believe. I have to smile (I can't help it :) ) All my hard work making my classroom so awesome and it still is minus half the posters on the wall because they won't stick and my curtains because when the students sit on my benches in my reading area they lean on them and the pull them down. All in all, it is coming together to be a great first year! I am getting more excited with every new idea I learn and teach! I can do this.
